This is Susan. What’s her story? Well, it’s one many might recognise.
After the birth of her second child, she took a long look at herself in the mirror.
“Hmmm I don’t recognise that person. She used to be trimmer, tighter, less slack. Bits are hanging out everywhere and I don’t like it. It’s got to stop right now”.
And there and then, she decided enough was enough. She wanted her pre-baby bod back. She joined a health club and threw herself into 3 classes a week. She got stronger, yes, and possibly a bit fitter, but the fat was still there. She ate what she thought was a healthy diet (although she confessed that she had little idea what that was) but the fat wasn’t shifting.
Friends had told her about the 21 Day Blast plan. She coughed up, signed up and got stuck in. She decided to join the Group Training sessions rather than follow the online plan because she simply didn’t trust herself to do squat jumps at home on her own in her living room.
These are her words:
“Even after the first 7 days, I started to feel so much better. I couldn’t believe how instant it was. For the first time in a long time I was happier, I felt like I was walking on air, I felt amazing. I was sleeping well and I had bags of energy and was never hungry. It didn’t stop there.
After BLAST, Susan was determined not to let the hard work go to waste (not to mention the getting up early and the sore thighs) . “I continued with three group sessions per week and kept up the majority of the eating plan with a few treats thrown in. It wasn’t difficult, I just had to exercise some restraint occasionally. I could see results so quickly, that kept me motivated”.
